Customer Satisfaction Survey Sweepstakes Official Rules

1) ELIGIBILITY: Specialty’s Café & Bakery “Customer Satisfaction Survey” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is only open to legal residents of the United States of America or the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Specialty’s Café & Bakery (the “Sponsor”) and their parents, members, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the household of each are not eligible to participate. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2) HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes is on-going. Sweepstakes periods are bi-monthly. Sweepstakes periods run from the 1st of each month through the 15th as well as the 16th through the end.

To enter, participants will either receive an email after a recent purchase inviting them to complete the survey or they will receive a specially-marked receipt with instructions inviting them to complete the survey.

The answers to the survey will have no effect on a participant’s ability to enter or win. During the survey, the participant will be invited to enter his/her e-mail address to be entered for a chance to receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry for the period (the “Drawing Period”) during which the entry is received. The Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes. Proof of entry does not constitute proof of submission.

To enter this Sweepstakes without making a purchase at Specialty’s Café & Bakery or without completing the survey, hand print your name, complete address, city, state, zip code, email address, daytime phone number and birthdate on a 3” x 5” card and mail it to:

Mailed entries will be entered into the bi-monthly Drawing Period, based on the date the entry is received by the Sponsor. Each mail-in entry must be mailed in a separate outer envelope. No copies, facsimiles, or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Limit one mail-in entry per post-marked envelope. Partially completed and/or mechanically reproduced entries or rubber-stamped entries will be void and ineligible. All entries received become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. The Sponsor will not be responsible for illegible, late, lost, mutilated, misdirected, postage due or stolen manual entries. Limit: One (1) entry per person or per email address per day regardless of means of entry.

3) SURVEY PERIODS: There are twenty-four (24) Drawing Periods each year. Entries must be received during the Survey Period to be eligible for that Survey Period drawing. Mailed entries will be considered for the Survey Period in which they are received by the Sponsor. Non-winning Survey Period entries will not be rolled over to subsequent Survey Periods.

4) RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) winner will be selected for each Drawing Period during the Promotion Period in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received for that Drawing Period. The drawings will be no more than 7 business days following the end of each Drawing Period. Entries will not be carried over into subsequent drawings. The drawings will be performed by a random feature on a computer. The drawing results are final. Prize winners will be notified by email and requested to confirm their email address or mailing address within 48 hours via return email. Prize will be automatically added to the winner’s Specialty’s Café & Bakery online account or mailed to an address that the winner provides.

5) PRIZES: One (1) prize will be awarded for each Drawing Period. Prize will be in the form of an automatic $100 credit deposited into the winner's Specialty’s Café & Bakery online account or a $100 gift card mailed to the winner. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Purchases made with the Gift Card may be deducted from the Gift Card until the balance reaches zero. The card is subject to terms contained on Gift Card. Odds of winning a prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received for that Drawing Period. Limit: One (1) prize per person/household during the Drawing Period. All taxes, if applicable, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize, not specified, herein, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6) GENERAL RULES: Decisions of Sponsor are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, entrants accept and agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for (a) lost, late, illegible, mutilated, misdirected entries, entries not received in time for each random drawing, faulty machinery, Internet transmission errors, or other mechanical/electronic errors, scanner or computer hardware or software malfunction, or any technical or human failures, errors or difficulties of any kind, or any unauthorized access to, or theft of entries at any point in the operation of this Sweepstakes. If such error occurs, Sponsor may in its sole discretion terminate or modify the Sweepstakes, and select winners from all entries received up to the time of termination or modification. In no event will more than two (2) prizes be awarded monthly. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use/misuse of prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY PARTICIPANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. All participants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these Office Rules and the decisions of Sponsor.

7) FORCE MAJEURE: The failure of the Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of the Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable laws and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.
